One of the most recent addition to the Lisbon scene, Larry Quest is a composer and crate digger from the outskirts of Paris. In November 2019, the discreet producer made his way into record shops worldwide with his first physical 12’’ record 'Conun Drums', a grooving Hypno House 4 tracks EP in collaboration with the British producer Jimpster through the imprint [Delusions Of Grandeur], picking up interest from record labels and fellow DJs. His sound, tinted by the UK club scene and the Detroit Techno originators, blends analog synths, soulful House beats and acidic bass lines in a jazzy spirit. Keeping on delivering tracks through his own imprint [Log Records], he most recently joined forces with Lisbon wizard DJ Ka§par editing ‘Faìscas’ EP on [Percebes] in March 2022, as well as with Los Angeles finest imported talent Dino Soccio and with Leeds balearic maestro Joe Morris for two EPs to be published through [Pleasure Of Love] and [Shades Of Sound] this year.

Behind the decks, Larry shares his best finds of Deep & Acid House, Soulful Breaks and Jazzy Techno cuts filling the dance floor with joyful and ecstatic high energy. With a history of gigs in East and South London, supporting acts like A Guy Called Gerald, Leila Arab, Atjazz or Young Franco, in France supporting acts like Jeremy Underground, Erol Alkan or Breakbot, in Portugal playing Out Jazz festival, Friday Happiness, Collect showcases or Nada Temple after parties, he actively participates in different local and alternative night life outlets.
